Mrs. Traci Tiemann
Mrs. Tiemann is the seventh and eighth grade homeroom teacher. In addition to teaching reading, English, science, and health to the seventh and eighth grade students, she also teaches reading to the fifth and sixth graders, math to the sixth graders, and technology class to the first through fourth grade students. She directs the children’s choir consisting of third through eighth grade students. She also co-coaches the scholar bowl team with Miss Bachmann.
Mrs. Tiemann attended college at Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW). In 2009, she received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. In 2016, she graduated from CUW with her masters degree in Education-Literacy.
In 2009, Mrs. Tiemann began her teaching ministry at Zion Lutheran School in Independence, Kansas, teaching fifth and sixth grade. She taught there for two years. In 2011, she accepted a Call to teach second grade at Trinity Lutheran School in Centralia, Illinois. She taught there for seven years. Mrs. Tiemann has been teaching at Trinity in Hoyleton since 2018.
Mrs. Tiemann is married to Adam and has two children, Lilah and Grant.
Mrs. Tiemann’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
